Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig November 21, 1983) is an American actress who is best recognized for her performances as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost and Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Born in Worthington Ohio she dropped out of high school to move into Los Angeles with her mother after her parents divorce. Her first role came to her, as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001, despite having a difficult time with finances. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 with her portrayal of fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. In 2004, Grace was cast as Shannon Rutherford in the television show Lost where she was the main cast member for the first two seasons, and was awarded an Screen Actors Guild Award shared with the ensemble cast.
