Aisling Bea

Aisling B a is born on 16 March 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. She appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is a popular Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea first began her career with stand-up comedy in the year 2011 after playing small roles she played for Irish and British TV dramas beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began to appear regularly on sketch and sitcoms. In 2012, following her won an award at Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA) and began to be featured often in various panel programs. Between 2016 and 2017, she was a team captain on 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant for the follow-up show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents are Brian and Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her sister, was also born. She became only the second female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny in 2012. The surname she uses is Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh'Sullivan' was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian is an equine veterinarian who committed suicide at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she reached the age of thirteen. In 2017, Bea composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and adopted her stage name Bea in tribute. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were taken care of by their maternal grandmother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher jockey trainer and professional jockey for a time. The family was awed by racing, horses and the racing industry. Bea was a child a tour guide for the Irish National Stud. From a very young age, Bea knew that she was not interested in the racing industry. She was more interested in the performance arts.
